Anorthosis are struggling at the start of the season which are the results of continuous changes in the lineup and coaching change or vice versa. Anorthosis started the season with a narrow 1-0 win and crashing out of Europe in the qualifying stage with a surprise loss to an Albanian side. Since then they have gone winless in 6 games and not showing much improvement under new coach Jurgen Streppel.

The Great Lady has drawn games against Alki, Paphos FC and ENP Paralimni. The dropped points against the three clubs were assumedly guaranteed and this should be an alarming sign to the club and its fans.

 

Followingly, the club made decisions and released Ronny Levy from his duties and thus expecting a quick turnaround to the results, but the results have not come yet and Anorthosis faces another big club in Apollon who have been flawless until now and scoring effortlessly. The ship needs to be fastened quickly or else more embarrassment can be seen coming towards the faithful fans of Anorthosis.
