Nea Salamina have ambitious goals for the season and with the bright start the club is having those goals seem to be achievable. The club aim to break into the top 6 and fight in the promotion table at the end of the season. Coach Savvas 'Poursa' Poursaitidis transmits his confidence onto his players and that reflects on the exciting play of Nea Salamina so far this season.

Nea Salamina have striken gold in playing three in the front. The spearhead being Kingsley Onuegbu who has come over from Germany and has had an immediate effect on the team and the championship.

Kingsley has already scored 4 goals in 6 games and is causing big problems to the defenses in the league.

Kingsley has the size, strength and power and is bullying his way to the goal. Along with Kingsley, Charles Eloundou and Thiago Santos are adding speed and skill and are not short of goals themselves.

Both players have found their feet and settled in well now being in their second season in Cyprus.

In the engine room, there is the veteran Margaca and under his mentorship is the younger Farshad Noor who is growing into his role as an achor for Nea Salamina. Both players providing a cover to the backline and a link to feed the ball to the front three. The backline has been stubborn so far and is showing the fighting spirit of this group. Ivan Fustar, Kypros Christoforou, Timotheos Pavlou, Anderson Correia and Roman Golobart protecting the goal in front of keeper Robert Veselovsky.

The fingerprints of Coach Poursa can be seen all over this team as lot of the starting players were brought in after him taking over the reins at the club. Some players were purchased at the midpoint of last season and are now blossoming as they understand the coach's plans. Nea Salamina can go far this season and the coming few weeks will show if the group of players are committed to reach new heights for Nea Salamina
